Things are starting to heat up fishing wise. We have started to find some nice Mahi offshore. These fish have been up to the 30 pound range. Most of the fish are traveling and are hungry. We have found most of them with the help of birds and debris. Also we have found some bill fish activity. Just yesterday we had a nice blue marlin up in our bait spread but couldnt convince the rascal to eat. There has been some tuna activity out deep too. We are looking forward to some Easterly winds though since the wind has been blowing lightly out of the West. Bottom fishing has been good when the current has gone to the north. Snapper and Grouper are good.
Inshore the big Tarpon are showing up good and there are still some Permit on the ocean side flats as well as bone fish. In the Everglades the snook and redfish bite has stayed solid while the big trout are chewing very good. Things are heating up and I expect to see it only get better. Book your trip while we still have some openings.
Thanks,
Capt. George
