Now that we are sliding into the hotter months we are finding hot temperatures and light winds. Oh we are finding some nice rain showers too which happen to cool things off during the middle of the day. Dolphin fishing has been good though the size of the fish could be a little larger. We have to weed thru the little ones to find some heftier fish. We have been finding some nice Wahoo on occasion as well as some good tuna.
Reef fishing has been solid. Big yellow tail snapper and a mix of bottom fish keeps the action going. We have even found a few king fish when we are anchored down fishing the bottom. The sharks have been biting a little lately too.
Tarpon and bone fish have been working on the ocean side flats while we always find a few Permit too. The Tarpon have been averaging 60 to 80 pounds.
