We have been enjoying some great weather recently and been able to get out there and find some really good fish. Mahi fishing has been very good of late and the size of the fish are getting a little bigger. There has been some bigger slammer size fish around also but the schoolie size fish have been big enough to keep for the most part. Tuna fishing has been getting a little better also. Nice size black fins and skip jacks are inhabiting our local deep spots and readily chewing. Light tackle tuna fishing is quite fun and these fish are great to eat either sashimi style or grilled. Sword fishing has remained to be very good and the fish are averaging 60 to 100 pounds. Sword trips keep you out of the sun and are relaxing.
Reef fishing is red hot in the evenings where we catch yellow tail snapper, Gray snapper, Mutton snapper and a slew of sharks. Reef fishing will keep you busy and produce some of the tastiest fish around. What are you waiting for? Lets go fishing.
