Fishing has been very good the last couple of weeks. Offshore we have caught our limit of Dolphin almost every trip. The fish have been all sizes from schoolies weighing 3 to 5 pounds. To gaffers that weigh 8 to 12 pounds and even fish that are 25 to 30 pounds. It seems like we are in the middle of Dolphin season rather then the end. There has been flat calm seas to go with this great fishing which has made life on the water very nice also. The tuna bite has been really good too. Black fins and skip jack schools are moving thru offshore and can really be fun on light tackle. The other day we had about a 15 pound skip jack eaten right behind the boat by a crazy Mako shark. The first strike was amazing since old sharky burned off 300 yards of line before leaving us the head. The shark was estimated at 200 pounds. Sword fishing has remained to be very good. There has been several fish landed that weighed over 250 pounds the last week and a lot that broke the 100 pound mark. We are also getting sword bite during the day when we fish deep baits down towards the bottom. You can book our Dolphin/Sword combo trip if that sounds fun. Reef fishing is also great this time of year catching yellow tail snapper, muttons and grouper. The king fish and bonitos are starting to show up good too on the edge of the reef and sharks are always a possibility. So come on down and let me show you a great day rodeo style. Fishing is my full time job and passion let me share it with you.
Thanks and God bless,
