This year has already been great in the way of catching fish. Sail fishing seems to be as good as it has ever been. Large numbers of sails have infested the upper keys waters where we fish from Islamorada to Key Largo. We are catching these fantastic animals on light tackle while fishing live baits. The average fish has weighed 50 pounds and we are doing this on 20 pound tackle.
Wahoo and tuna fishing have also been good too and we are seeing more Mahi traveling thru just off the edge of the reef. King fishing is in full swing right now just off the edge of the reef and we are starting to find more action with the snapper and grouper and even big Amber jack. Fishing is great and we look forward to it only getting better into the New Year. Come on down and join us for a day on the water.
See you soon!
